Hi! Hi! Hi!
Today was church day! This isn’t going to be a long post, but I just wanted to share a quick thought.
This holiday season, I encourage you to remember what it was like when you were a kid. Remember the excitement and joy. Remember the anticipation and how much happiness you had from all the decorations on the houses and malls.
As we get older we are too busy getting caught up with all the hustle and bustle. We forget what it’s like to really enjoy the holiday season because all we can think about is what presents we need to get, getting the house ready to have family over, etc. The true joy of the holidays are lost. Instead a season of being merry and grateful, it becomes a season of, “I need it now,” or “You don’t understand, they’ve been waiting for this gift and you’re already sold out?!”
This season I encourage you to find that childlike spirit and take the time to enjoy the holiday season. When you look at the world through a child’s eyes you start seeing the wonder in the world and maybe even cotton candy skies.
