Hi hi hi!
Have you ever gone to the drug store and stumbled upon a product and decided to pick it up based solely on its packaging? I do it all the time, but this caught my eye mainly because the packaging reminded me a lot of Kat Von D’s foundation. I was intrigued to see if it would give me the coverage that I wanted while feeling light weight.
- I’m sorry there really isn’t any huge pros I have for this product. I really wish I did because I think it’s a great concept and I am all for an all in one product…. It does have a pump, so I guess that’s a pro?
- Application: I used a pretty dense duo-fiber brush to apply this foundation and when I started buffing it in, it felt like it was tugging on my skin. I had a very difficult time blending and getting an application.
- Wear: I noticed at the 12 hour mark, that the foundation started to bunch up in certain areas of my face. I don’t really know why it did that and it didn’t bunch up in my fine lines, but rather on my cheek – a super random area.
- Overall look: When I first applied it, I liked how it looked. It was matte, but not extremely matte. However as the day went on I could see the foundation exaggerating my pores and I felt like they looked bigger than before. Definitely a no bueno.
I’m not very impressed with it. I really wanted to like it, but the coverage is okay. I can still see my freckles and dark circles and with the very few trouble spots I have I can still see everything. I tried to use the foundation with a silicone based primer, so that the foundation could have a surface to “glide” on to, but I still experienced the same tugging. I think next time I will try it with a sponge and see how it applies.
