Hi hi hi!
Apologies for being a day late for my #Blogmas post, but I was exhausted after work yesterday and couldn’t stay awake once I got home. Anyhow I still wanted to share this review with you guys since I think this will be the perfect stocking stuffer.
I had heard so many amazing things about BITE Beauty and I definitely think that this is a great option for someone who loves neutral lipsticks. In the kit there are 4 colors:
- Fig (favorite)
If you are planning to give this for a gift, I think it would be a great little present under the Christmas tree or in a stocking. The range of color is great for someone who is either getting into to makeup or just likes neutral colors. Though colors vary in shades (light-dark), personally I feel like each of these colors are still within everybody’s comfort zone. Even the darkest color, Nori, is still neutral enough for it to be worn by anybody.
The formulation is semi-dry, but it doesn’t affect the texture of your lips nor does it leave your lips feeling extremely dry. It’s actually a pretty moisturizing formula without it feeling extremely emollient. I do notice that I sometimes have to put on 2-3 layers especially if my lips are dry, but it doesn’t accentuate a lot of my dry areas nor does it apply patchy.
Though I do like the formulation of these lipsticks and the colors that are included in the kit, I just feel like there’s something missing. I was hoping to be absolutely floored by this set and I wanted to be excited about it, but I felt like there was something missing. I’m not sure what it is that’s missing or why I feel like it’s just a meh product for a makeup collector like myself, but it just is.
I love collecting makeup, mainly lippies, but I feel like I would be okay without it. However, like I mentioned above, I think this would be great for those who are starting out with makeup and even those who like neutral colors.

- Texture: 8/10
- Application: 7.5/10
- Overall: 7.6/10
Like I mentioned, I do think this is a great product for a certain group of people, but if you’re interested in trying out BITE Beauty’s Amuse Bouche formula, this is definitely a great way to try it out.
Let me know if you picked it up and what you think about it! Also, don’t forget to follow me on Instagram and Twitter to stay up to date with my blog posts and products I’m trying out!
