What’s In Janellie’s Belly?

Hi hi hi!

I had a hard fail with what’s In Janellie’s Belly this week and it’s only my third week in! I also failed when it came to taking pictures of my food – ugh the struggle was so real, but to be fair I had been up since 2:45am so by the end of the day I was pretty out of it. Let’s get into this week’s What’s In Janellie’s Belly!

This week I really wanted to get into some type of gym routine. I had one before where I would go after work and I would do light exercises on Thursday and Friday nights (usually I’m busy those nights). That all came to a stop because afterwards once I got home, I would be so exhausted that sometimes I would skip dinner and just shower and go to bed.

I wanted to switch it up a little and go to the gym early in the morning and then head to work and I was hoping to start that this week, but unfortunately it didn’t work out too well. So I’m planning to go to the gym today (Wednesday) after work, go to bed early tonight, wake up like an hour earlier, go to the gym for 30-45 minutes, come back home, shower and get ready for work. My boyfriend had also suggested that I focus on using weight-machines instead of cardio since my main goal is to tone. This is the first time in a long time that I have been excited to go to the gym; believe it or not, I used to love going and my day never felt complete unless I went, but that was a fleeting moment because once I started working 40 hours a week, it has been a struggle to go.

That is my update for now, let’s get into what I ate!

Breakfast:

Today it consisted of a small slice of an Italian Sub and some spam and cabbage. Now, don’t diss the spam and cabbage! I guess it’s a Hawaii combo, but I really do enjoy it. It’s the perfect mix of salty and savory. I also had some leftover Starbucks Chestnut Praline Latte (absolute FAVORITE besides my beloved PSL).

Lunch:

On Friday I didn’t have anything to bring for lunch so I ended up grabbing some pad thai from the food court – their portions are so large I have been working my way through the rest of the leftovers! It’s so yummy and the fried tofu they put in there is my favorite part of it.

Dinner:

Okay, so this is where I made the boo-boo of not taking a picture of my dinner! I had homemade chili with Redondos hotdog – it’s the only type of hotdog that I really like and I’m pretty sure you can only find it in Hawaii or wherever they sell foods from Hawaii. Every time I have chili with Redondos hotdogs, I immediately miss home (Hawaii) and I miss the ono food.

Snacks:

As usual, I never take a picture of my snacks, but it consisted of a little blueberry and blackberry parfait with some ginger cookies and of course the Chestnut Praline Latte from breakfast.
