Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2017

Mother's Day Gift Guide 2017

Hi hi hi!
I wanted to share with you guys my Mother’s Day Gift Guide for 2017. I think these gift are great for any type of mom – working mom, stay-at-home mom, and the #LadyBoss! Let’s get started!

kate spade | Scallop Trim Tracker
I feel like everyone is all about getting healthy and changing up their lifestyles and I love the fact that this let’s anyone get a jump start in a cute and fashionable way! Though I love my Fitbit the major problem I have is the fact that it doesn’t really go with all my “office-appropriate” attire. I like the kate spade version because it’s a lot smaller and there are many “classy” options.

Fitbit Charge 2
If your mom is always on the go, then I highly recommend the Fitbit Charge 2. The one thing that I love the most about this is the fact that it displays the time. With my job, I tend to work fashion events and I’m usually out and about, so it’s not always convenient to check the time or check my messages. With the Fitbit you’re able to sync it with your phone so it alerts you when someone is calling, if you have a calendar reminder, and it even shows your text messages (however, if it’s a long text message you won’t be able to read the full thing). I also like the fact that you can set a separate alarm on it via the Fitbit app.

A woman on the go can always use a nice spacious purse that can multi-task. I love the style because you can use it as a typical arm bag or a regular shoulder bag. You can detach the strap, roll it up and carry it in the purse, while you use it as an arm bag, and when you’re tired of carrying it on your arm, you simply attach the strap and wear it as a shoulder bag. It’s also spacious enough to carry planners/agendas, bottled water, pencil cases, wallet, etc. This purse is so roomy and the best part is that it’s an extremely classic style that will match any occasion. This is  purse that will keep up with any mommy lifestyle.

Michael Kors | Daniela Large Leather Crossbody
If your mom is like my mom, she likes to have the option to go for a smaller crossbody like this, especially when she’s just running errands on the weekends. I love this type of purse because it’s large enough to accommodate the necessities (phone, wallet, and keys), but there’s also enough room to accommodate a small note book. Keep in mind that this would be great for a mom who’s a minimalist. There’s enough room for the necessities, and a couple extra items, but that’s about it. Again, this style is extremely classic and will match with practically anything she wears. I also love Michael Kors’ leather because it feels sturdy, but it’s not too thick. It’s also extremely durable.

Tory Burch | Ella Nylon Tote
Alright, this is a great bag for those moms with younger children. It can be difficult to keep up with the kids, and let’s be real, their hands are usually covered in random messes. For those moms, this would be the perfect tote. It comes in two different sizes, but it’s the material that I want to talk about. The nylon makes it extremely easy to clean and maintain – if it becomes dirty, empty the bag out, take a towel with warm water and soap and gently rub off the dirt. The bigger version of this would also make a great to-go diaper bag. It’s extremely roomy and you can fit a ton of things in there. I would highly suggest this for new-moms or moms with younger children.

My mom loves these types of cases for her phone, mainly because it protects her phone screen from scratches and dust. However, it’s a great option for moms, especially when they need to run quick errands. There are slits in the case where you can place credit/debit cards, spare cash, business cards, etc. It’s extremely convenient and not to mention, if you are in a rush, you can just grab this and your keys and you’re good to go.

kate spade | gold dot concealed spiral notebook
I would highly consider getting something like this for my mom because it feels like she always makes lists, but for some reason she loses it. I also feel like this would help her get jump started to do daily devotions. It’s amazing how just having cute things like a notebook could really motivate someone to start journaling or creating notes. She also is extremely crafty and is often creating displays for her room (she works at a daycare) and I think this would be great for her to plan out what the theme is and the supplies that she will need. A notebook is always a great gift and it helps keep a busy mom organized.

Paper Source | Home Is Where Your Mom Is Pillow
Your mom is a special woman. She is your greatest supporter, confidant, and so much more. I think if you were to give her this pillow for Mother’s Day, she will always be reminded that you are always thinking of her. As we grow older, it’s easy to drift away, a bit, from our parents, but I think having small items like this reminds them that they will always hold a special place in your heart.

Honestly, I think if you have a little one and you want to give a gift from the little one, this would be a great idea. Every time I see this saying, I’m always reminded of the children books I used to be read and I think this would be a great gift to give from the little one in your family. As I had mentioned above, these little reminders and simple gifts help remind moms that no matter how old their children get, they will always be their mom.

What will you be getting your mom for Mother’s Day? Don’t forget it’s on Sunday, May 14th! I hope you guys enjoyed this post!
