Sephora Beauty Gift Guide 2017 – Lips

Sephora Beauty Gift Guide 2017 - Lips

Hi hi hi!

OMG! There’s only 13 days left before Christmas! Where has the time gone?! Anyhow, if you are rushing to find some last minute gifts for the makeup lover in your life, you have come to the right place! There are my top lip set pick from Sephora.
Kat Von D – Everlasting Mini Liquid Lipstick Set – $49.00           Kat Von D has my favorite liquid lipstick formula. It is a lot drier than some of the formulas out there, but this does not budge at all! What I love about this set is that you get the mini sizes and a variety of colors. There are a lot wearable colors, but there are a couple that are a little outside of everyone’s comfort zone. There’s a great range and trust me, a mini size will last a really long time. In this set you get:

  • Madrid
  • Witches
  • Damned
  • Hawkwind
  • Sanctuary
  • Ludwig
  • Lovecraft
  • Exorcism

This particular set will be great for someone who loves to experiment with their lip color, but often worries about it fading weird or bleeding outside of their lipline.

Huda Beauty – Contour & Strobe Lip Set – $25.00

Huda Beauty has created a perfect beginner lip set this set incorporates a lip contour (lip liner), liquid matte lipstick and lip strobe (gloss). What makes it great for a beginner is that they have the option to play around with different types of lip looks and experiment with the different elements. I remember when I first started using lip products, it was a little intimidating to actually purchase products because I wasn’t sure what would work together. This kit would have been extremely helpful and I would have definitely enjoyed receiving it. The best part is that it comes in different colors.

Dior Holiday Couture Collection – $98.00                                   So I made a boo-boo. The set that is pictured has been sold out on Sephora and is no longer available for purchase. I have linked a trio of lipsticks that Dior is currently selling on their website. I wanted to include a luxury item in here because some of us have the opportunity to purchase something like this. This is a classic lipstick formula with great pigmentation. You have to understand that with a gift like this, you are really buying the name. This would be a gift I would give to someone who is a little more mature or would appreciate the product and the fact that it is a Dior product.

Bite Beauty – The Perfect Bite Amuse Bouche Lipstick Set – $25.00

I actually picked up the set that they released last year and I have found that it is a great go-to product. I got to test out the Amuse Bouche lipstick (which is really good) and I also got to test out different colors. In my opinion the formula is a lot more emollient than typical lipsticks, but it’s not so slick that it starts to go outside your lip-line. This would be a fun stocking stuff-er for anyone and it would definitely be appreciated.  The tin is also hand for carrying the lip products and if you take out the inset, you can keep some folded tissue to blot your lips or a flat lip balm.

Sephora Favorites – Give Me Some Nude Lip – $28.00

I’m sorry, but this product isn’t available online anymore. You might be able to find it in stores. Anyhow, Sephora always comes out with little kits like these that have a specific theme. This is a great bang for your buck, especially if you have a lip product junkie in your life. They will have the opportunity to test out multiple brands and some of the most popular from that line. I love picking these up, but I do have to warn you that you should really take the time to look at these colors and make sure that they are something that will be used.
Burberry – Liquid Lip Velvet Set – $45.00                                     If you follow me on Instagram or even on this blog, you will know how much I absolutely adore this formula from Burberry. It is so lightweight and so opaque, it’s really a dream to work with and in my opinion, a top quality liquid lip product. This has a mousse like texture, but it does not feel goopy or heavy on your lips. What I love about this kit is that you get to test out a variety of colors and it really allows you to see how the full range is. I would pick this up for someone who loves their high-end items and loves to play around with lip colors.

Clinique – Chubby Treats – $25.00

This is another product that I picked up last year and decided to include in this holiday gift guide, because let’s face it, not everyone is in to pigmented lip colors or lipsticks in general. We all have that one friend who loves their lip balms. This is a great way to keep them in their comfort zone, but also introduce them to the world of tint and color. This would also be a great gift for someone who is getting into makeup because it eases them into the whole lip product world. Believe it or not, as much as I love my opaque lip colors, I do love a good tinted balm especially during the Fall/Winter time.
I hope you guys found this helpful and were able to get some great ideas fr either presents or stocking stuff-ers.
