[Lifestyle] Keto Diet – The Usual – January 18, 2018

Hi hi hi!

Even though this has been a short week, it feels like it’s been one of the longest weeks! I have been on the struggle bus in regards to going to the gym because my legs have been sore since Tuesday. Anyhow let’s get into the food diary. 

Pre-Breakfast:

Of course I had to have my NutraKey Ketones with some water.

I warmed up the last of my cauliflower fried “rice” and also had some of my sausage omelette that I made on Tuesday. I really wanted a little more meat, so I cooked up 5 Little Sizzlers and ate 3 for breakfast and packed the remaining 2 for lunch.

No mid-morning snack.

Lunch:

I actually ended up not having lunch today. I know it’s bad, but I just wasn’t hungry.

Mid-Afternoon Snack:

Since I didn’t have lunch, I decided to drink my Ketone OS and snack on my pack of almonds to help get rid of the after taste the Ketone OS has.

Before heading to dinner, I hit up my gym for a quick cardio session. It was just 30 minutes on the treadmill at slightly fast walking pace. About 2.6mph. I really just wanted to focus on stretching out my legs and getting the Ketone OS to digest better.

CALAMARI! I had my regular fried calamari and bbq chicken salad. I didn’t finish my chicken salad, no surprise there, but guess where you’ll see it next!

Energy:

I felt great the entire day! It was a slow day at work and there wasn’t much for me to do. There was a period where I thought that I was extremely hungry, but when I really thought about it, I was more-so bored than hungry. I’m glad I caught myself and was able to get myself out of it.

I got home around 10:00PM and by that time I was ready to go to bed. It was another “late” night for me, since I actually ended up falling asleep around 10:30-ish, so I wasn’t able to get up to go to the gym.

Overall:

I’m still feeling amazing! However, my stomach was still sore from the carbs/sugars that I had eaten on Tuesday and so going to the bathroom has been really difficult. At some points, it still feels like my stomach is trying to digest a brick, even though there’s no way that the cupcakes are still there. Hopefully, everything will pass and I will be able to go back to my normal digesting process.

I have also been craving and I mean CRAVING Korean BBQ! I really hope I can get some on Saturday. Fingers crossed!
