[Lifestyle] Keto Diet – Always The Same! – January 19, 2018

Hi hi hi!

I am almost at 21 days of keto! I am so excited and so proud of me and thankful for all the support I received from my family, boyfriend and coworkers on this diet. It has honestly been a struggle at times, but I would not trade it for the world.

The keto diet has been amazing to me and it has opened my eyes to what I can achieve. I have never been more dedicated to a program before and I have never had a program provide me with the results that this one has had. I’m sure if you decided to go on the keto diet and were more strict with your carbs and sugars than I am, you would definitely see more results, but I am so pleased with the direction I am going in.

I woke up a little early to work on a video that I will be uploading to YouTube and I wanted to finish that before I ate breakfast. Thankfully, I didn’t have to cook my breakfast since I just had my leftovers from the night before. I must say, I love my BBQ chicken salad more the next day. Prior to that, I did have my NutraKey Ketones mixed with water.

No mid-morning snack.

Since I ended up not eating my lunch yesterday, I just warmed it up today along with my 2 little sausages. I think this was the first time I have actually overeaten while on this diet and let me tell you, it is not fun. My stomach felt hard as a rock, not to mention how lethargic I felt.

Before I left the office, I mixed together me Ketone OS and made sure to add some salt to my hard boiled egg. On the drive home I worked on the Ketone OS and snacked on some of my almonds.

Pre-Bowling Snack:

Once I got home, I still had a lot of my Ketone OS to drink through, but I really couldn’t make it through most of it. To break up the sweetness I ate the hard boiled egg that I salted before I left the office.

Dinner:

PHO!!!

Energy:

I swear, I just can’t seem to get my full 8 hours of sleep in! It also doesn’t help that I have been drinking decaf coffee for the past few days. Seriously, what’s the point of coffee if it doesn’t wake you up?! Anyhow, regardless, I was able to stay awake all day and I have to say, the caffeine in the Ketone OS really shocks your system. Every time I drink it, I feel like I have tunnel vision and it gives me that jolt without increasing my heart rate.

Also, since I didn’t work out this morning, I found that I had enough energy to get through my bowling league.

Week 3 Wrap-up:

I think from now on I will be posting weekly, just because my meals have been pretty repetitive. I know it gets boring to read and honestly, it gets boring to type about. However, that doesn’t mean I will stop posting, I think now, I will just focus more on recipes to share.

Personally, I can’t believe how fast this month is going by. I thought that once I started on this diet, it would be impossible to keep. I thought that I would just throw in the towel by week 2, but I just find myself becoming more and more encouraged by the changes I see and, most importantly, by the changes I feel. I have found myself becoming more immersed in the health/fitness area and I am loving the way it’s changing my perspective on things. I am so thankful that my boyfriend helped open the doors for me because it really has been amazing so far.

I have been working on a post that dives more in-depth as to why I decided to go on this diet and even show pictures of me at my heaviest. It still hurts me to look at those pictures because all I can think is, “How did I let myself get that way?” It will be a tough post for me because the journey has been so difficult. I have spent so many nights crying about how unhappy I was, how gross I felt, how disgusting I looked, etc. I know the journey has just begun, but I can’t wait to see what happens.
