[Lifestyle]Sephora Holiday Gift Guide – Part 1

Hi hi hi!

Can you believe we are already gearing up for the holidays?! I’m starting to save up money for my car registration and presents for me and my family and friends… oops, did I say me? I really meant for my family and friends, not really. Anyhow, Sephora released new gift sets and I wanted to share some of the sets that are worth looking into for the beauty lover in your life.

BeautyBlender Sweet Indulgence Set – $65.00

I know, you’re looking at the price point and your eyes practically jumped out of your skull, but hear me out. This set includes 4 original BeautyBlenders and 4 mini solid cleansers (in cute corresponding colors). I like this idea because I would actually split this up into 4 gifts. Personally, I love the BeautyBlender and I have found other egg-shaped sponges, but nothing ever really performed like the BeautyBlender. It’s also a great way to introduce a “sponge” into someone’s makeup routine. This is a quality gift that can/will be appreciated.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter Mini Macaron Set – $40

Whew! That was honestly a mouthful, I know, but this is a great gift where you can get multiple presents out of one purchase. This set includes 4 mini pressed skin perfectors in Opal, Vanilla Quartz, Rose Quartz and Prismatic Amethyst (my favorite). Again, you get 4 gifts out of this one purchase and it’s the perfect add-on to any other gift you’re thinking of giving! I would even combine this with the BeautyBlender because I love to apply these highlighters with a damp BeautyBlender – it helps to mesh everything together. These colors are a great range as well – nothing too dark nor too light.

Bite Beauty Four Little Bites Amuse Bouche Lipstick Set – $25.00

I know another lip product, but hear me out on this one. Bite Beauty always puts one of these sets out and I love them – one because the colors are great for a large variety of skintones and two, the quality is amazing! I love carrying these little guys in my purses because they are so easy to apply, but I just want to give a heads up that during the colder months, it can be a little tougher to apply since it does contain beeswax. Love these!

Sephora Favorites – Give Me Some Lip – $28.00

Personally, I am a huge fan of these “Sephora Favorites” sets. I just think it’s a great concept that allows you to try out different brands and be able to use all the product without feeling like anything went to waste. Usually in these kits you’ll get a range of deluxe sample size products and a full size product. I also like the fact that majority of the colors can be used by everybody. It’s a great little gift to give the lippie lover in your life.

Tarte Pineapple of My Eye – $59.00

I have to admit that the only reason why I’m including this in here is because the palette is shaped like a pineapple, and I have been OBSESSED with pineapples lately. Though I would think this palette should have been introduced during the Summer, I think that this would be a great beginners set. The palette itself includes 24 eyeshadows, 2 Amazonian Clay Blushes, 1 Amazonian Clay Highlighter, 1 Amazonian Clay Bronzer. You also get 1 Deluxe Sex Kitten Liquid Eyeliner, 1 Deluxe Lights, Camera Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara, and 1 Rainforest of The Sea Lip Quench Rescue Balm. The colors in the palette are a great starter kit in regards to eyeshadows. There are a lot of neutrals and some rich (looking) jewel tones. The blushes are also very neutral blushes that can work with a variety of skintones. Unfortunately, I have never tried Tarte’s eyeshadows, so I can’t comment on the quality of them, but I have tried their lip products and blushes and I love the formulation of them! The blushes are so pigmented and are easy to blend out and their lip products (not including liquid lipsticks) apply so smoothly and are moisturizing.

Viseart Golden Eyeshadow Palette – $49.00

This technically isn’t a kit, but I wanted to include it on here because of the quality. I love Viseart eyeshadows because they are pigmented, easy to blend out and easy to work with, which is why this would be a great gift for someone who appreciates makeup. This palette includes a lot of great basics and you can really accomplish a variety of looks with just one palette. Now this does pull more on the warmer side, but it’s not overly warm-toned like an Urban Decay Naked Heat palette. I think this would be a treasured item for someone who loves makeup, but may not necessarily have the money to splurge on higher-end brands like Viseart.

That’s all that I have found so far at Sephora! I want to know what you are thinking about gifting your family and friends (or yourself)! Don’t forget to follow me here, on Instagram @ciaociao808 and on YouTube!
