[Lifestyle] September 2018 Bullet Journal

Hi hi hi!

It’s been a few months since I shared anything from my bullet journal, but I’m hoping to eventually include more of that here. It’s just been a little difficult since I have been trying to juggle a lot and to be honest, I have been feeling pretty overwhelmed.

Cover Page:IMG_2340

I just really wanted Fall to come, so I decided to incorporate that into my cover page. I used my Tombow Duo Markers and I use those with a water pen to add a warm up the background and to really bring in the fall colors of gold, orange, and hints of red. I was also excited for my pumpkin spice lattes. Fall and Winter is really how I maintain my gold card status at Starbucks. You think I’m joking, but I’m really not. I had also picked up a VersaMark pen and I wanted to try using it with my gold embossing powder and I love it! I really need to think of ways to use it in the upcoming months with some of the embossing powders that I have.

Using fun stickers from BananaPeelStickers!

Monthly Challenge:IMG_2344.JPGSince I started September in a new bullet journal, I decided to incorporate more lettering challenges so I can really practice it and try to get better. I also wanted to incorporate some of the washi tape that I bought, and I thought the warm yellow in the flowers would look great in the spread. I got this challenge from @llamalettering on Instagram. I love watching her YouTube videos which you can check out here! This month on her channel, she’s doing a Plan As You Go series which has been really fun to watch. I also wanted to do this because I wanted to practice lettering using Crayola markers.

Savings Tracker:IMG_2345.JPG

Going along with the PSL theme, I decided to use a coffee cup to track my savings. My only regret is that the “sleeve” of the cup is crooked.

Mood Tracker:

Okay, I tried really hard to draw these stupid maple leaves. I just can’t. Anyhow, I have been having a tough time lately regarding my emotions/mood, and I just wanted to try and track what I’m going through. The thing is, I don’t bullet journal daily to really be able to track my moods, so I have to constantly think about my day and write it down later.

I picked up a HP Sprocket in September and I have been loving the fact that I can include pictures in my bullet journal! It’s so much fun and adds just even more memories into my journal. I also wanted to include more drawings/work related things into my planner, but the main reason I wanted to include that is because I wanted to take up more room. For a while, I have been using a full page for each day and it became more and more difficult to full up the whole page. So towards the ending of the month I began splitting two days on to one page, using washi tape to divide the page.

Monthly Recap: IMG_2355

As usual, I went ahead and did a monthly recap with a mantra/quote that really encapsulated the whole month. This month’s quote was: “Dreams don’t work unless you do.” The reason why I chose that quote is because of my shop. It was something that I really wanted to do for so long and I just needed to buckle down and make that dream a reality. So this month was really focused on taking action and taking the steps to pursue my dream.

I want to know what your theme in your bullet journal was! What are you planning to do for November? Let me know in the comments down below!
