Hi hi hi!
If you haven’t been keeping up with me on YouTube or ANY of my Instagram accounts, you have probably been wondering where the heck I’ve been! Well, I have been busy. In all the craziness of year-end (for those of you who deal with it), I wanted to make your shopping a little easier. I have been working on a few different gift guides – you can check out Sephora’s gift guide (part 1) here. Be sure to follow my blog for more gifting ideas and START MAKING YOUR LISTS! Today, I’m sharing some of my picks from Ulta!
Gifts To Pick Up Now – Ulta’s Holiday Haul 11/4-11/10
When these palettes first launched, there was a lot of controversy behind it due to the color inconsistencies. Since then, they have been re-done. I have the original Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Palette and I have to say, I like the take on this a lot more. There are four palettes in this “vault” and each of these palettes cater to certain looks. With this deal you save a little over 15% per palette, which isn’t bad. If you know someone who is a Jaclyn Hill lover or you just want to get them something they can use as a “go-to” palette, this is a great option.
Personally, I haven’t tried anything from Juvia’s Place, yet, but I have heard nothing but raving reviews about the quality of the eyeshadows and what a deal it is. The Nubian caters more to those who like neutral looks. The eyeshadows can be easily incorporated into an everyday look. The Nubian 2 has a richer color palette leaning more towards jewel tones, with pops of color. It’s a great option for someone who likes to vary their looks day-to-day. **Images from juviasplace.com**
Now this is a great stocking stuffer or something to add to a gift. I have tried a couple of Tony Moly sheet masks and they are great! Not sure if they ever really did anything to help my skin, but I liked how the actual mask was a little thicker than other masks that I have tried in the past. This would be perfect for those obsessed with skincare and I find that Tony Moly’s formulas aren’t overly harsh.
I started straightening my hair when I was a sophomore in high school (I think), but I had to use this dinky straightener that I found at Ross for like $10. I would have loved to receive something like this to save my hair from being dried out and burnt! My current straightener is one from ConAir and I bought it from Walmart, by no means is it fancy, but it has held up! This is my second one, my first one lasted me and my sister about 5-6 years! If you have a teenager, or anyone really, who is looking for a great straightener, ConAir makes some amazing ones!
Hope you enjoyed this really quick gift guide! I wanted to get this posted since the deals end online and in-stores on November 10th. Like I mentioned above, be sure to follow me here and on Instagram to stay up to date with everything!
