Hi hi hi!
It’s been a hot minute since I shared any ‘In The Kitchen’ posts, and I thought this would be a great one to share! I stumbled upon a pin on Pinterest with the title: 55+ Easy Keto Recipes and I decided to check it out. I’ll leave the actual link to the recipe here. I really wanted to get back to meal planning, for the past few months I had fallen off the wagon in regards to it and I noticed that my fridge and freezer have been packed with so much… crap. I have stuff in there that has either gone bad or is definitely not on the keto diet. This was my attempt at bringing some kind of order to everything. Hi hi hi –
Where do I even begin? A part of me is frustrated for not having any posts go up, but a part of me knows that that’s how life is sometimes. I’m going to be quite frank with you guys – this post may become extremely uncomfortable for some and it may even trigger some of you. If you are sensitive to subjects like depression, suicide, and negativity, please close this screen and spend time doing something you thoroughly enjoy. Continue reading “[Life] Worn – The Aftermath”
Hi hi hi!
I hope you guys enjoyed a peek inside my Bullet Journal (BuJo)! Like I mentioned, I am a beginner and I’m hoping that this will help me with my creative skills (i.e. drawing, lettering, etc.) The BuJo has been something that has helped me document some of the best times and also some of the worst times. It’s fun to be able to flip through the pages – to be honest, I really just love the sound that the pages make once I’ve written on them. It’s tough to explain. Hi hi hi!
I know it’s been a while since I have posted anything, but let’s just say that life has been throwing me curve balls left and right. To be honest, I will probably keep this short and simple, but will update on specific events later on.
The past couple of weeks have been rough, but the past few days have been the worst. We have experienced an unexpected death in our family and let’s just say, the dark won this battle. As I began the healing process with my family, it just hurts to know that there are so many questions left unanswered and just so many things left unsaid.
As we begin the healing process, I wanted to share more and more about my experiences with depression and what this has been like for me and my family. The hopes is that it will shed a light on to some things that is tough to talk about, but also it will provide someone with the courage to reach out. For right now, I will leave it at that. We are healing and it gets a little easier everyday, but we just have to take it one day at a time.
Hi hi hi!
Today’s Tip Thursday revolves around a problem that I have had. Like all my other Tip Thursdays (and my other posts), these should all be taken with a grain of salt. I am simply sharing my experience and what has worked for me on my journey to weight loss as well as a healthier lifestyle. I am not an expert and I am not forcing you to do anything that I say. This is simply me sharing what has worked for me. If you are interested in trying any of these things out, please please please talk to your health care provider first before doing anything. Alright, with that being said, let’s get into the actual post. Continue reading “[Lifestyle] Tip Thursday – Plateaus”
Hi hi hi!
I hope you guys are doing well! First off, sorry for the very raw and almost whiny post the other day. Life is tough and sometimes you just need to vent. Today, I wanted to focus on something that is a little tough for me to explain, but is important for me to talk about, especially this far on my journey. **Note: I am not a professional. I am just simply sharing my journey and what I have been through and the things that have helped me along the way. By no means am I telling you that you must do what I say. Any type of weight loss program or lifestyle change should be discussed with your doctor or a healthcare professional!!** Continue reading “[Lifestyle] Looking In The Mirror”
Hi hi hi!
As many of you know, this blog started out as a strictly beauty/makeup review blog and I had slowly transitioned to include lifestyle posts since starting my healthy lifestyle/weight loss journey. I don’t want to lose that original focus, but I also wanted this goal to be a reflection of my life and interests. Makeup/beauty is still a huge portion of my life and I still have a huge passion for it, but my wallet can’t support that. So I naturally picked up other interests and passions along the way.
I’m still trying to make this blog interesting and diverse, while still writing about things that I am passionate about and I have found it difficult. I guess what I’m really getting at is, if you were here strictly for beauty/makeup, you’re going to be highly disappointed. I’m not a one-dimensional person and I am more than just makeup. Like I mentioned above, I wanted this blog to be a reflection of my life and the things that I have learned along the way. Whether it’s my favorite makeup products of the month or my favorite markers for bullet journaling or a recipe that I absolutely love, I want to share that with you.
With all that being said, you will start to see more posts regarding planners, planner deco, and Plan with Me; you will also see more bullet journal type of posts. I was originally going to incorporate these into another blog that I will be running for my family regarding all the crafts that we do, but to me planning and bullet journaling is something that I want to share on this blog.
I hope you will stand by me and will continue to support my blog even though it’s not straight makeup reviews or lifestyle posts. This will be a fun journey!
