First off, I have to toot my own horn and say that I am so proud of myself for sticking with this diet for 7 WEEKS! This is the longest that I have stayed committed to a diet (without starving myself) and for me this is a huge milestone. [Lifestyle] Keto Diet – Leg Day Sucks – January 17, 2018

Hi hi hi!

Oh my goodness my poor legs! I really need to get better at stretching after a workout because it was hell to get out of bed. Really though, it’s my own fault. Anyhow, besides my dramatic intro, I hope you guys had a great Wednesday. We are half-way through the week and I am half-way through my third week of keto! It’s exciting to think that it’s been only three weeks, because it really doesn’t feel like it.

[Lifestyle] Keto Diet – January 8, 2018

Hi hi hi!

So I think I’m not going to post any food diaries on the weekends. It’s too tough to capture everything, especially when it’s all in the moment. However, I have to say that I was pretty good this weekend. For the most part I stayed away from heavy carbs and sugars, except for Sunday. Sunday I indulged a bit and had ½ a slice of banana bread, 1 cheese ragoon, and some palabok (a Filipino dish made with rice noodles). Anyhow, it’s Monday, so let’s jump into the food diary.

[Lifestyle] Keto Diet – Out of Control! – January 4, 2018

Hi hi hi!

It’s almost Friday, and I am almost done with my first week of keto! I have to admit that going into today, I already knew that it would be a semi-cheat day because on Thursdays I usually go out to eat with my family. Now it’s not that I go crazy and I order a plate of pasta or anything like that, but it’s the dang fried calamari that always gets me. Anyhow, let’s get into what I ate today!

[Lifestyle] Keto Diet – Journey Begins – January 1, 2018

I had eluded to this change in my lifestyle a little and like always I wanted to document this whole journey.
